He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and attended the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Levinson completed his residency at Dorn VA/Richland Memorial Hospital, where he was chief resident. Dr. Levinson, along with Dr. Guram, founded SC Internal Medicine in 1986. Dr. Levinson is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He is a former chief of medicine at Lexington Medical Center and a longtime team physician of Brookland-Cayce High School.
